Paying for your Care
T-GEM Healthcare costs less than you think.
Understanding your home care funding options can be daunting, that’s why we try to keep it simple. T-GEM Healthcare is a private health care provider and our families are paying for their care privately, however, you may be able to get funding towards the cost of your care from your HSC Trust. If the trust currently pay's for your care and you aren't happy with the care being provided, you can ask to receive Direct Payments. This is an amount of money that is paid directly to you (or somebody that you choose to act on your behalf) that enables you to be in control of your care. We understand how stressful it can be organising care for yourself or a loved one. That’s why we’ll aim to keep things as simple and straight-forward as possible when it comes to costs. We are:
Upfront and transparent about our home care costs. There are no hidden fees or lengthy notice periods.
Able to accept direct payments. If you’re receiving funding through social services and have opted for direct payments, we’re able to accept top-ups to these payments.
Depending on your needs, home care costs will vary. Visiting care is charged at an hourly rate, with live-in care quoted on either a daily rate for short-term respite or weekly rate for ongoing care. We can discuss the level of care that is right for you and whether the cost of home care is financially sustainable for you and your family.
We know how important it is for you to have a clear picture of your care fees. So, we provide a simple, straightforward breakdown from the very start.
Here’s an outline of our visiting care fees:
Prices start from £18 per hour for one-to-one personal home care
We do a minimum of one hour to 24/7 care.
Prices depend on your location and specific care needs, with differences for overnight care and support provided during weekends and bank holidays
Free home visit from our Management team to assess your needs and ongoing support from a dedicated contact to ensure you’re happy with our service.
Your quote for care will be confirmed once our Management team has visited you at home to finalise your care plan and double-check we have everything covered.
